WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- President Barack Obama on Thursday said prescription drug costs should be lower, and suggested giving the government power to directly negotiate drug prices and allowing medicines to be imported from abroad would be ways to lower prices.
The pharmaceutical industry has vehemently opposed both ideas, saying they would hamper innovation, harm the industry’s business model and expose Americans to unsafe drugs. Obama, during a live interview that aired on the video-sharing website YouTube, said the government should “look at” the two ideas.
His answer was prompted by a man who said his U.S.-made diabetes medicine is cheaper to purchase abroad. “Why does the same medication that I use cost so much less in Mexico or Canada, even though it’s being made right here in the United States?” the man said. He added, “We as a country need to fix this problem.”
The president said other countries can negotiate drug prices -the U.S. can’t.

Attorneys Craig Gillen and Roy Barnes filed a motion in Cobb County Superior Court Wednesday morning asking a judge to throw out a 31-count, Jan. 6 racketeering and theft indictment against Brown, who has led the Marietta-based electric membership cooperative for nearly two decades.
The filing is a relatively common legal tactic in criminal cases, although calling a press conference about it is not.
The filing said the charges involved acts too old to prosecute and that Brown had been cleared of any liability by a December 2009 settlement in a civil lawsuit and by the co-op’s board. It also said the state’s business judgment rule shields Brown from criminal liability.
“The extraordinary and outrageous circumstances of this prosecution have led Mr. B

Should you wish to live your life peacefully, happily and securely, it really is vital that you simply communicate better with others and make superior social contacts with your improved social abilities.
1 of essentially the most significant issues that you simply really should know and excel at may be the art of reading gesture. Realizing the emotions and feelings of others using the aid of their body language can make you closer to them. With the art you can sense their emotions. It also let you understand how they essentially really feel and are they truly interested in you.
Looking in the reactions of the body can let you realize regardless of whether the person is actually interested in communicating with you.

As China’s economy has continued to put up stellar economic growth in the midst of one of the worst global economic crises on record, it’s widely believed that China will lead the world out of its downturn and soon rise to global economic dominance.
So it’s no surprise that there was a lot of attention given to Chinese President Hu Jintao’s visit to Washington this week.
But those who have been swept up by this tide of popular sentiment might be surprised to hear that there’s an alternate scenario that’s equally plausible: China’s economy could represent a major and imminent threat.
Indeed, throughout the crisis, I’ve been making the case that China could be a big problem for the global economy for at least a couple of reasons …
Reason #1 China’s Currency Manipulation
China has gained economic prowess through maintaining an artificially weak currency — to corner the world’s export markets. When times were good, t

Most of the webmasters use keywords for search engine optimizations and website promotion. However the placement of keyword is more important than the density of these keywords. With proper placement the chances of your getting noticed is optimized. On the other hand if the keywords are not placed in proper way and at the correct position then it may not give you the desired result as they might very well go unnoticed.
Keyword Identification is the first step while creating your content for your site. Identify keyword related to your niche topics should be the first priority while creating web content. The quality of these keywords is critical for a good ranking in search engines. Researching the right keywords for your website should be the key, so that when people perform a search for a particular keyword phrase they will be able to find your site. So how do you do that will be the questions in everybodys mind.
